​Congratulations Piers Islanders
 
The Wreath Auction is over for another year and despite all the restrictions of Covid, it was a great event that raised over $7000 for the Saanich Peninsula Lions Foodbank.
 
It was achieved because of the input of many, many people giving their time, energy and brainpower to ensure it could go ahead and succeed.
 
Thanks to all the volunteers who made the beautiful wreaths, swags and table decorations.  They all looked fabulous.
Thanks also to volunteers who helped organize the event, including Katie, Greg, Pauline, Frances and Gary,  Libby and Tony, Jackie, Jacquie, Sandy, Ginny and Carly Macoun.
Thanks also to Jade, Georgia and Gabe for their auctioneering help.
 
Lastly a big, big thankyou to everyone who joined the wreath auction and bid so generously, and to all those who donated independently.

The Auction goes live at 5:30 pm tonight and no further "Comment" bids can be accepted.  You can watch on Zoom - the link is in the right sidebar, or hope your bid is the final winner.  
High bidders can make payment by cash or cheque payable to Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank or by eTransfer to piapayments@piersisland.ca 

Deliveries will be made to you on Sunday on Piers Island.  Not here and wish you were?  If you are off island and a high bid, we will deliver and hang at your Piers Island property so it looks festive.  :)
